Yes there is but you have to be a member to use it. You can get it at lake street and harlem 57.00 plus you have to get things filled out by your vet
Yes, the access gate is the only way for people or dogs to get in or out. The entire area is fenced in. Membership can be obtained online or in-person at the Cook County Forest Preserve office. This park is adjacent to other grassy areas and paved trails which can be used if your dog is leashed.
I think it's first come first served unless they actually designate you an area. If that's the case then maybe you might have to request it upon informing them that you want to have an event there
