Last week I came in for a beard trim and for my sides to be cleaned up. The employee spent about 20 minutes with me and while I am fine with the work they did I wasn’t expecting to be charged $73… after I left I returned to the shop and asked for a receipt and saw I was being charged for a beard trim ($43) + a buzz cut ($30). I questioned why I was being charged for the buzz cut to the woman at the front desk and she said it’s because my sides were tapered (honestly, they weren’t really) and it’s under the discretion of the barber on what you are charged. I travel a lot for work so I’ve had this service in major cities across the country but have never been charged this amount. I have been to a Floyd’s in Los Angeles and haven’t been charged this much. I usually get my haircut in New York City and it’s less money! This barber at Floyd’s didn’t even touch the top of my hair! A buzz cut? Lol excuse me? This absolutely ridiculous and unfair how you can just charge how ever much money for 20 mins of work. I will never be back again but you should be aware of what they are doing at this location.
