A fantastic bar with a large dance floor and outdoor seating:) Would 100% recommend dropping by for events or just to have a good time on a weekend ✨

Pretty cool venue. Went for MidAmerican Elevator. Great show, good drinks, cool bartenders

It was a special occasion, so it was not normal. Great bar staff, great room for a dance. Outside tables to cool off and eat (if you plan on bringing in food). Surprising amount of on street parking at this venue too. It was great all around if you plan for it.

This venue makes the music feel cozy and fun. Would definitely come back to experience more live music!

I think that you can pay at the door.

are the shows 21+ for all or can those under 21 enter when accompanied by someone 21 or older?

They always card. The only think I can think of is that they have an outside porch now. I won't be surprised if you can hang out there if accompanied. Worth a phonecall!

Where do I park when visiting the Hideout?

Brenda Fahey | Oct 11, 2018
Noah Schneider | Oct 10, 2021

From their website: PARKING There is ample free street parking directly in front of the Hideout (on Wabansia) and on surrounding streets (Ada St.+Throop). There are also numerous bicycle racks along Wabansia as well as a DIVVY Bike station at the corner of Elston & Wabansia. **We’d like to remind you to always lock your vehicles and bring your valuables with you, as there have been car break-ins (unfortunately) in the surrounding neighborhood.
