This was an excellent choice to stay for 2 nights as I enjoyed the close proximity to the interstate and the local restaurant. The front desk were so accommodating during the duration of my stay and made me feel right at home. It was also a budget-friendly choice, I didn't regret choosing Motel 6 one bit

I stayed at this Motel 6 for a month between March and April when I was homeless. Many can critique things like cleanliness, security, and so forth, however, in the time I stayed there, something much more meaningful became evident. The majority of the employees are very friendly and work very hard. Melanie, who is the assistant manager who works a LOT of hours there at the front desk, and chances are, if she is not there, she is at the property next door which is owned by the same people. Melanie in particular is a non-stop, solution-oriented problem solver! Melanie also treats customers, total strangers, in such a way as I would articulate, as the "golden rule" in action. She treats you like you would want to be treated. You come there as a stranger, and leave as part of a small, unique family. As I mentioned, I was homeless because of circumstances beyond my control and my church helped me extensively with the cost of housing while I was there. The experience of being homeless, and not being accepted at many apartment complexes because of the extreme and hypocritical judgment of others in society, is enlightening to me. I would not trade the experience as it has brought a lot of things to the forefront in my own perspective that may have otherwise been overlooked. Folks use Motel 6 for lodging for a plethora of reasons. Mine was out of necessity. What I found here at this Motel 6 with Melanie in particular, and several of the other employees, was a heartwarming experience where we societal misfits are even accepted as part of a small, unique family. My stay here was a true blessing overall. Melanie personally gets 5+ stars! She and her fellow employees bring the overall rating up to 4 stars, only diminished by the condition of the property which is in some need of repair. Property condition is a 2 star rating. With care and investment, the property has a 4-star potential if proper upgrades, maintenance, security access, pool, and other physical attributes of the property are improved. If I were an investor, I would look at the potential of seeking that 4-star rating and really put into it what I know I could eventually obtain as a return from it.

The motel was clean and the beds are comfortable. The shower needs attention, it was lacking water pressure. Staff I give 5 stars to. Especially Melony at the front desk. She was very polite and helpful and made my experience much more acceptable!

When I got here I was not at all impressed and actually was concerned about a few things. The front desk staff however is just great about addressing any issues I've had so far. The place is undergoing some remodeling right now but I've not been the least bit inconvenienced because of it. This is an older hotel that's trying to make a comeback and I think they're well on their way. Plus the Mexican restaurant next door is pretty good too.
