They told me to buy mistress protector it's horrible made of plastic and very expensive I did not use it I take it back they will not give me refund with receipt only purchased few days ago I will never shop there again
Normally it's for support of the mattress and to absorb shock. However, there are alternatives and not always needed based on the mattress you choose. Hope this helps.
