Meat sale items only. Grocery aisles overpriced. I've been coming to this Pete's Produce location for @ least 20 year's, if not more. However, I do declare, yesterday was my last visit. Wanted loose chattering's. I walk into the store, headed to the back butcher. No line. @ least 5 young, black, and ignorant lil boy's standing, congregating behind the butcher counter. Not one of them asked, if they could help me. I pick one out, ask for 7 lbs of loose chattering's. As a matter of fact, he laughs in my face, as if something was funny. He keeps repeating, chattering's, chattering's. I ask them all what's funny bc they're laughing up a storm, as if I'm some type of joke or child. I ask for meat management. What do want, ask one of the peons behind the counter. I tell him. He joins in on the laughter. The lil punk that was waiting on me, ask the peon, "what did he say? what did he say, as if he was punking me. Then, he wants to have a stare down competition. Next, he throws my chattering's across the counter at me. I go to the register. Pay for my purchase. Ask for store manager. Store manager comes, ask how can I help you, and listens. Manager ask me to point them out. I remembered that they all said, "we don't like touching chattering's. " I repeated the statement in front of the manager, in front of all five. I ask the manager, "why in tf are any of them here? Manager assures me, that when I come back, none of them will be working there. I said to the manager, "the best news I heard all day bc I will not come up in here to be disrespected, while spending my money, by some neighborhood young punks." Pete's can do better during their hiring process. I am changing my initial review from 3 stars to 1. I won't be back!

Pete's on 87th street on the east side has been there for a long time. The prices are reasonable you are able to get some nice fresh vegetables.

You can stir fry with canola, corn, or vegetable oil. Special oil isn't necessary.
I always shop Pete's in Bridgeview I know it's kind of far but it's huge and the prices are better and way more choices of produce.
They have it in jars, but I don't know the sizes,,,
What's a peach sausage 🤷🏽♀️
A case of tip cost $15 but it depends on the brand and i dont think they ship
Must wear masks. Produce is open to public handling.
On my last visit 1 week ago a sign was posted that they were hiring
