I really and truly don't know where to begin, but I've been trying to get in to see Dr Patel for the last 2 days I have been feeling very stressed out desolate and I really needed to speak with the doctor so that I could get some guidance on what I could possibly do to control the stress level that I'm currently experiencing on yesterday I pulled up my insurance card online and unfortunately it did not have Dr Patel's name listed as my PCP therefore I wasn't seen. I made an appointment for today at 11:45 but before I went I spent almost 45 minutes on the phone with United healthcare updating everything on my account with Dr Patel's name address everything I go in with a reference number that was given to me by the healthcare associate from United healthcare and he updated my information in the system again I go in I offer the reference number they said no we need something else billing will not accept that she did not ask me for my insurance ID or anything or even check in her system to see if it had been updated I have been going to Dr Patel for over 20-something years she is great I love her to death but now I'm considering changing healthcare providers simply because of the front desk they are inconsiderate uncaring they see me coming unglued knowing I have been going to this doctor forever and so nonchalantly we cannot see you for 24 to 48 hours until it's updated billing will not accept it and these are health Care professionals and trust you me I am in the healthcare field and this type of behavior from anyone is unacceptable.

If I could give this establishment 0 stars I would. They actually deserve negative stars. Buckle up, because I have a lot to say. The front desk staff actually leaves A LOT to be desired. Customer service skills? Nonexistent. My last few appointments have come with problem after problem, with no explanation and barely an apology. I have One year, I had an appointment scheduled for a check up and when I got there, they ask me, “are you fasted, because you’re supposed to get blood work done today?” Hm, no, that wasn’t discussed when I made the appointment so of course I haven’t fasted. So I had to cancel after driving all the way there and reschedule without explanation as to what happened. In November, I had an appointment. Let them know I was running a few minutes late, they said “ok”. Got there, checked in, everything is good, next thing you know, I see other people who got there way later than me getting called back. Once again, there was 0 communication, and I had to go up to the desk myself and let then know I was still there waiting to be seen. Nothing but confusion combined with a deer in headlights look was given. Fast forward to day, I had a telehealth appointment scheduled for 1:30 and I get an email notification stating that my appointment has been moved to 4:45. No communication, no phone call, no voicemail [even though they claimed they did, but I can assure you they didn’t]. Once again, I couldn’t be given an explanation and of course nothing could be done and the lack of empathy was very prevalent, when it was their mistake and wrong doing. I have a prescription on my record for something that was never discussed or communicated to me as to why I’m getting it. I’ve told them countless times to change the location of the pharmacy for my asthma medication but they still keep sending it to the same place time after time. Dr. Patel is nice, but even her service is starting to go downhill for me. I get seen for 5 minutes, but get a bill for $100. I’ve spent more time feeling like a cash cow than a cared for patient. I can’t wait to switch health care providers and never look back because the lack of competence and communication is becoming a burden to deal with. If you’re still reading, please save yourself the frustration and go elsewhere. I promise you, the constant scheduling and service mishaps and random prescribing of prescriptions is not worth it. Choose a provider who truly cares.
