Judy's is a Bangor staple, a place all should visit, enjoy a cup of coffee, have a truly great omelette, or a morning drink, if that's your fancy. The restaurant is nearly always busy, booths filled with regulars, post-night shift nurses, and tourists who made the right choice to come here. It's small, cozy, and gives you a feeling like you've been personally invited to someone who happens to live in a restaurant, I can't explain it any other way. If you look at my other reviews, you'll notice that I don't typically visit such places but I came to Judy's once, and will keep coming back, bringing any new face to Bangor to experience this quintessential locale.

The place was packed at 9am. People were loud and drunk. Probably people who work graveyard shifts I'm not judging. Very hard to carry on a conversation. Very small place. Food was ok. The poor waitress/bartender was definitely overworked at that early time of day. She was very good. Would we go back, probably not. The locals like it. I'll let them have at it.
