This place has been one of my favorite day off destinations for years. It has held a very special place in my heart for so long. I just finished reading Duane’s book, Selling Dead People’s Things. I didn’t think I could love BAM anymore than I did before, but knowing the history of how it all came about gives me a newfound love and respect for this institution. They sell the book there - pick one up.

Best Antique Mall in Chicago, if you don't find a treasure in this place of plenty, you are missing out. Clean, organized beyond belief for an Antique Mall. Friendly & helpful staff. Prices are so reasonable and really hard to find Mid-Century, Art Deco, Lucite, Chrome pieces and so much more. Walked out with 4 treasures that I've never seen before & believe me I Antique shop everywhere. Parking right out front & great part of town, so it's a win win.

It feels like walking through an overpriced museum. For the cost, everything is kinda underwhelming, but there is still some pretty neat stuff there.

Hi... We stringently require all customers to be masked at all times; we have hand sanitizing stations throughout the store... and because BAM has two floors of retail exhibition space we are able to facilitate social distancing in the safest way possible. Thank you for your inquiry.
