May change review in the future if I see posted changes. Recently visited Jackson after moving away 5 years ago. I spent some time in this jail 12 years ago this jail was disgusting. Mold everywhere and horrible living conditions I remember when the sewage backed up into f pod shower all the guards did was bring a mop and said clean it and deal with it. I noticed driving through they wasted money on a new court house shouldn’t that money of went to fixing their broken disgusting jail

Most here are professional men and women. As with any departments there are those few that bring it down. Give the new sheriff time to get rid of those deputies and detectives that power trip and give the department a bad mark. She's an elective official and a damn good one.
