La Santa Taqueria

I visited La Santa Taqueria with my family a few weeks ago and overall it was a decent experience. I had two chorizo tacos, tried the barbacoa tacos, and shared the queso fundido with my family. I enjoyed that there were a few vegetarian options (not many but a few) and loved that we were seated quickly. While the food was flavorful and was out from the kitchen quickly, that’s about all this place had going for it. Our server, while kind, was in a rush to turn the table over and it was quite obvious—she came to our table quite a few times and took our plates literally as we were putting the silverware down and picking up our napkins. For me, picking up the plates before I can finish chewing is a pet peeve. Aside from that, I don’t know if it’s because I visited on a Saturday night, but they had a DJ playing music and the music drowned out any conversations that could have been had with my family members (we were seated inside and the DJ was outside and it was still overwhelming loud). In all, yes, the food was tasty, but the parking situation, the loud ambiance that was not conversation friendly, and the pushy server made this a just okay experience for me.

Music was way too loud even outside, we asked twice if they could turn the music down a notch so we could at least hear each other on the table but the manager refused. Unfortunately we left because ít was unbearable.

Came here for the third time so far and wow our server Felipe was very sweet and attentive ! Nowadays servers make you feel rushed and a bit rude but our server was very helpful and great attitude made everything a lot more enjoyable as for the food was fast great very tasty i highly recommend the birria and shrimp tacos .. and the margaritas wow! We also ordered the queso fundido with chorizo and that was surprisingly tasty everything we ordered was great ! craving tacos ? come check them out , you will want to come back .
