We went for lunch today. I had the blackened halibut and it was excellent. My wife got the crab and avocado sandwich and the crab did not taste good (maybe old or just poor quality?). The manager kindly replaced it with a burger that she took home. The restaurant is a beautiful design and the clam chowder was also excellent. My wife uses sugar in her coffee but our waitress said they ran out of sugar yesterday. I thought that was strange. Also, I asked for extra lemon, but I never received it. When I used the restroom the “automatic” light did not turn on until I was washing my hands which made things a bit more challenging. Our waitress was friendly and everyone that worked there seemed like they cared about making customers happy so we will be back. Wish this location was open for weekday breakfast.

Service was great but was given a few rotten oysters. 4 hours later, I am sick and vomiting and diarrhea . Called the restaurant and they said they discarded the bad oysters but do not feel obligated to provide any compensation. If anyone else out there today had a similar experience, please call and let them know. I’ve been going to the oyster bar for over 20 years and have never had a problem. This was the first time going into the market street. I just done know why they won’t give some compensation for serving bad oysters!!!

My family and I have been coming to Market Street Grill forever and have always loved it. We went for dinner and it was terrible. The service was awful, and it seems like the prices have at least doubled since 6 months ago. I understand the price of everything but it seems like it’s way more expensive and not nearly as good. The server was rude and unprofessional and it seems like the staff has gone way downhill. I’ve always felt like Market Street has been a higher end place but sadly it’s not to the standards I would have hoped for. My card got charged for another tables food and unfortunately we will not be going back.

Yes, either Atlantic salmon or halibut fish and chips or Prime Rib from 5-7 and all night Wednesday and Saturday

The have a fresh fish market in the lobby of the restaurant side. It offers a good but pricey selection. The during the lockdown of COVID the fish counter was closed. It had opened again but supply chain issues impact what they offer fro day to day

There is a Sunday brunch special each week. I'm not sure if they offer an early bird special, however, they do have daily specials. It might be a good idea to call first to find out what the special is.

Half price on oysters Monday night at Market Street Grill.
You can walk in to get their delicious clam chowder and/or chili with a loaf of sourdough bread. I imagine you can also order and walk out with most anything.
