So, I've been going to the Weston Pinch A Penny since they opened. Since then I have not had any issues with my pool and have purchased all my supplies from them, from chemicals, pool cleaners, and even a Big Green Egg. For the last few months my pool has been cloudy. I've had the water tested, yet every time time I was told the water was perfect. I tried water clarifier, it helped, but the water was still cloudy. When I went back to the store I spoke to the owner and he told me to try a water clarifier. When I told him that I already did, his response was that the filter must be dirty or I need a new one, and that is the only reason it would be cloudy. My filter is only eight months old and I clean it often. I therefore decided to have my water tested elsewhere. I went to Leslie Pools in Davie. After testing the water I was told that my phosphates were extremely high. I asked if this could make the water cloudy and was advised that it could as phosphates feed algae. I was sold a phosphate remover, used it, and low and behold, my pool is now crystal clear again! You'd think, being the owner, and in the business, they would know what would cause problems with water quality and how to fix it.

I had to replace the knob on my filter lid as it kept spinning inside itself, so I ordered the replacement parts from Hayward and decided to tackle that repair today. While attempting to remove the damaged knob, I dropped the lid, shattered the pressure gauge and snapped the air relief valve off of the lid. I brought the lid over to this store and not only did they replace the 2 parts that I had just broke, but they swapped out the parts that I was initially trying to replace as well! They're an authorized Hayward dealer with their parts in stock. Great customer service! Highly recommend

Zero Star We just sign up for their services. First time guy came and broke my floor decor. Walked on that - did not even informed us. I didn’t complain Next week guy came - left water open at the back and pool water was so low when we came after 3 days from out of town we noticed. They can be working in the area for years but they have to be careful and mindful in what they do.
