I ain't even been food looks delicious but I'm just gonna say I be dag'um if I'm paying $130+ per person and A) gotta prove vacation "I ain't and won't be" but on top of that even if you're vaccinated ya gotta wear a mask screw that and screw y'all imo with all do respect and if that ain't the case now y'all should change it and still be ashamed of yourselves cause nobody should forced to vaccinate again imo and I'll go elsewhere for that simple fact js

My husband and I went to Laurel this past Saturday for a birthday celebration. We were not sure what to expect as this is not our usual type of outing. We ended up having 9 courses and most of them were interesting and good but not the best things we have ever eaten. I was most excited for the duck course but the texture was difficult to eat. For spending over $500 I was disappointed but maybe we just didn't get it.

It has been many years since we visited Laurel Restaurant. I remember following chef Nicholas Elmi on Top Chef and rooting for him to win (he did!). Laurel was always difficult to get a reservation for, so I was not optimistic I would be able to get one for this past Saturday. Shockingly it was very easy to get a reservation. It seems like they only do a tasting menu and I love those. It did not disappoint!! Everything looked phenomenal and tasted out of this world. I particularly loved the custard with peas, the oysters with cantaloupe, the hiromasa with strawberry and almond, the wagyu, and the black forest chocolate pudding. Service was fantastic!! Never had been in the bar area (shows how long it has been since the bar opened in 2016).

'smart casual' I wore nice dark jeans, dressier shoes and a sweater and I had no issues. My girlfriend wore a similar outfit.
Hi Cota, our sister restaurant nextdoor, In the Valley (ITV Philly) offers walk up takeout cocktails & food, with sidewalk seating available. Laurel is still reservation only for our Chef's Table in our garden patio.
Both, but I would suggest going big and splurging for the wine pairing, well worth it
Quite a lovely and quiet atmosphere. This is achieved by limited seating, as well as acoustical treatment on the ceiling I noticed during my last visit. Wonderful place to catch up!
Yes and no. They have a liquor license through ITV next door and offer a wine pairing. They used to exclusively be BYOB. I believe there may be a corking fee now.
Hi Debbie, Curiosity Doughnuts at In the Valley has taken a break for the moment. We look forward to bringing doughnuts back this spring or summer.
