The risks associated with this type of business should not be the customers issue ever. They wouldn’t let me cash my check because I signed it before I got to the counter. They already charge EXTREMELY HIGH FEES to cash checks, the owners profits are more than secure. They are providing poor service to a community they don’t respect because they choose to plain and simple.

They will usually if you have prior relationship with your name and an account woth them at the check cashing place. That way since they have previously cashed checks with the same business they can tell if they ever had a check bounce or any other issues cashing it on their end. If you haven't ever cashed a check from your boss and have never done business with the them at check cashing place then they will probably say no and not cash it and you would have to wait till the date the check is dated on. All matters about your relationship history with cashing similar checks in the past there tbh. Good luck!!!☺

Not sure if a personal check will be able to be cashed. With proper ID. They will make an account for you when you cash for the first time They might accept it if you have already have a prior account there and have cashed checks from your job on the past. If it was any other personal check they usually won't cash it.
