Wonderful lady helped me today. Took care of what I went for. Clean, neat, building, inside and out. Everything you need from a post office is there, just take the trip.

Had a passport appointment at 1pm, got there 10 minutes early & didn’t get helped until 1:15ish. The family infront of me didn’t have all their documents filled out or prepared when the website clearly stated to have everything ready to go. They could’ve called me up while the family was taking their time to fill out the application. Oh well. It happens. Besides that, everything went smoothly & my appointment went quickly bc I had everything I needed. Overall, my experience was good & the employee was nice & professional

I don’t know where to begin. The Royal Oak Post Office seems to have a variety of issues that never seem to be addressed. We constantly receive other people’s mail and have to give it back to the Postal workers, and half the time our packages are given to other addresses. We live in a complex with parcel lockers for some packages, and on numerous occasions the postal workers will put our packages in a locker but either do not leave the key to retrieve the packages, or give the key to another nearby resident who may or may not open the locker. Several packages and pieces of mail have been lost or returned to sender because the Post Office incorrectly handled it, and the phone line to get help is a joke. Unless you get lucky, you almost never get your call answered. I would understand delays given staffing issues, but it just seems that the Royal Oak Post Office has an issue with chronic mistakes and mishandling of mail.

Its the post office. Once I went and there was a 35 min wait line. Yesterday I went at 5 and there was no line, just me. I can say that in 20 years using this office I have never once had someone act rude or mean to me. Busy? Curt? Sure. Rude? No. Actually, this branch is always quite friendly to me and others I have noticed many, many times.

I believe that our mail comes from the Detroit facility. I'd call them.
Berkley has drive up mail boxes in the parking lot across the street and in front by the doors (If thats easier than getting through the construction zone and finding parking)
If it was, it's been fixed.
Yes you can call the post office station on its number and representatives will be there
No
No mail delivery. Stll have to come to work
No it does not. The mail is processed in Pontiac.
4 or 5 pm plus if you only need postage stamps or you need to enter your mail box that section is always 24-7 available
