Unfortunately, I too have recently purchased two pullets from Dare 2 Dream that have contracted Merek’s disease. One of the chickens started showing signs of limping around and today the second started doing the same. The first to limp is now almost completely paralyzed in one leg. Started off looking like balance issues but the symptoms just keep getting worse. I have previously reached out to Dare 2 Dream with no response to rectify this unfortunate situation. I have 5 other birds that I’m now worried have been exposed and may succumb to merek’s as well. At a loss, and praying I don’t lose the rest of my flock.

This is my third farm box from Dare 2 Dream. I am very happy about getting tomatoes and carrots this time! One of the beets is huge!!! On box delivery days, I always plan to have salad for dinner because the greens need to be consumed ASAP. The first two boxes had arugula and some other leafy greens and they were already kinda wilted and withering. Always expect to get beets. Everything else has been great. The basil was super fragrant and fresh! I made an amazing pesto with it.

Had to take the time to leave these lovely business owners a review! I purchased 6 baby chicks from you folks in August of 2019 and am happy to say all 6 are doing amazingly well! We just picked up two more baby chicks from your farm last week and they are thriving and really starting to open up to us and eat out of our hands today :). I do have to say it makes me very sad to see the one star reviews, especially if the individuals haven't first reached out to the farm. I'd like to share that a year and a half into having my original six chickens (which came from Dare 2 Dream Farms) they all caught the Avian Flu and that was an unexpected and tremendous undertaking with each of my birds kenneled up inside under heat lamps, with me force feeding them as if they were baby chicks, but they all survived and my vet was absolutely astonished. Their chicken's bloodline is healthy for sure. I would definitely recommend this farm, but more importantly recommend buyers do a heck of a lot more research before deciding to add chickens to their lives. Thanks again for the amazing baby chicks! Will be buying from you guys again when we are ready to add more to our family :)

I'm posting this in case anyone thought, like me, that Katie Nelson's experience with her chickens was an isolated instance. I'm also a new chicken owner with brand new coop, feed, and six weeks old chickens purchased from Dare 2 Dream Farms. I purchased them two months ago. Last week, at 14-16 weeks old, one of my chickens started having balance issues. I isolated her and she passed away today from Marek's. No doubt the other two chickens have been exposed. Only time will tell when they will succumb. What can I do but wait?

Hi Peggy! I'm sorry we are just now seeing this, Google does not notify us when questions are asked here! Our office is closed on weekends, but unless otherwise noted all weekend events are still scheduled (i.e. farm stand, tours, classes, farm-to-table dinners, etc).
Depending on how many chickens you have, they should be able to huddle together to stay warm. The coop should keep the heat in if it's enclosed. If it's not enclosed, then I would recommend insulating them.
Yes, the minimum order is two :)
The farm does not have any baby goats this season, but you can check back in the future!
Many days they do have eggs.
Hi Kilei, our chickens are also sold for companionship as well as egg laying, but we do have a minimum order of two as they're flock animals and get lonely and distressed when they're on their own. :) They make great pets!
