Travis Frerking and the team have provided me with a wide range of products and services on my competition handguns (Precision Match). These include custom made open sights for P210 P210A, P220SM, Customization of a Model 41 Barrel and new FO Sights, a Marvel Conversion (Type 1 for Precision Match). The work has been highly spec'd, low tolerance, refinishing, welding and re-profiling dovetails, customizing rear blades, and other exceptionally difficult work for a retired custom pistol builder... Every time I stop in it's like hanging out with friends! Staff is excellent as well as knowledgeable and thier custom guns are outstanding. Most shops have guys trying to push you to thier favorite brands but at Frerking they LISTEN to what your needs are then help narrow it down ultimately leaving you more educated and the choice up to you. In addition to building custom AR type rifles and 1911s, they have a nice gun store. The owners are very nice and helpful. I had them Cerakote the slide of my full size M&P handgun, and I'm VERY HAPPY with how it turned out. I would like to save up to buy one of their custom 1911s, but that effort may take longer as I'm now strongly considering having them Cerakote some of my other guns.
