Worst experience ever!! Do not waste your time and money with this place. It is extremely difficult to schedule drives with this school. You will end up taking 2-3 months to get through their program----not worth it for the money you pay. You can only schedule drives once a week---you will get on their website once the drives open and it will all be booked. Then they expect you to try and log on anytime you can throughout the week to find a drive slot. It's ridiculous!! Go elsewhere.

A-1 has great customer service. Jeanie in the American Fork office was FANTASTIC to work with. She understood our unique situation and was so accommodating. When customer service goes beyond just being good at your job but includes kindness as well… I’m sold!!! Thank you Jeanie and A-1!

I had Jackie as my driving instructor, and let me just say, he was the BEST. I really liked how he started with the basics, insuring i had a good foundation. he gave really great constructive criticism, and gave it in a really uplifting manner. he was able to show me things i had missed and help me to see them better. All in all, it was a great experience!

We have had 3 children complete A1 driving school and have had 3 great experiences. Jeanie (sp?) in the American Fork office was extra helpful in getting my daughter her final test so she could make it to her DMV appt on time. We would recommend A1 driving school for sure.

Questions & Answers

Does this driving school give enough instruction during only 9 classes and 3 practice drives in order for the student to pass the driving test?

Mary | Oct 10, 2019
Megs C. | Oct 10, 2019

Yes. Each class is 2 hours and then each subject does 3 2-hr observations and 3 2-hr drives. Each drive is spent teaching students all maneuvers that are on the road tests. All of the instructors are very thorough in the lessons.

Is it one on one with driving lessons or would there be more people in the car?

There would be more people.
