They have an intake package.... that your supposed to look up scripture.... one says "God adopted us" I was so confused... an asking "staff" about it.... No One!! Could explain to me... why My God! Was adopting me! I get it now! But if you are running a mission.... you would think... the "staff" could explain to a new comer.... why God has to adopt you! After that they took me to a "sermon" where the "pastor" opened the meeting praying about abortion!! I'm sorry! But if I go to church! Shouldn't I leave feeling up lifted!! Not bawling my eyes out!!! (I lasted 2 days.... at this shelter!! )

Donations are accepted everyday of the week just go to the front door and let them know if u need help bringing them in.
Praise God, Kelly! Thank you for sharing this amazing update. God bless you!
I work there and clothing donations are always welcome. M-F 8am to 5pm. If you need to donate after these times call to make an appointment so someone can be there to receive them and help you if needed.
They always have need of these items. You can call to bring items if after typical donation hours
The rescue Haven women's shelter is a safe place. They are very helpful, loving and excepting. I know these people and highly recommend this place. Call them and let them know that you need help. Another dv shelter is The Sanctuary in Midvale Utah.
There would be shelter for patrons, however alternate shelter would need to be found for the 3 dogs. Call any of the shelters for female patron info.
I think yes Jenn May. This place Help a lot of women and momys.
This concept of the worthy poor I find repulsive. These people need help and part of that help may be needing to get off drugs. Reserving your charity for only those people who share your values isn't right.
Check their website ,and contact them if you wish. https://rescuesaltlake.org/
Mary Jane, thank you for reaching out to the Rescue Mission of Salt Lake's Women's Center. She can call 211 or YWCA. Your friend should be sure to have a plan in place prior to leaving her situation.
Call and talk to staff 801-521-5925
The Mission at 1165 south State St. is the Rescue Haven. It is a home that houses women. I don't know if they have a volunteer program. You will need to contact them directly.
No
Call domestic violence shelters around. U can go 2 the road home if u want! They will help u with housing if u ask every single staff there n stay there. That's all I'm going 2 say.
