Great climbing as usual, but the customer service was really lacking today.

It’s been a while since I’ve been able to climb. It was a quiet day with not a lot of people but it was great to be greeted by staff and to get back into moving on the climbing walls.

I love to climb here, I hadn't been in several years and asked for a refresher on belaying and the girl behind the counter brought me over to recerify me. After making a couple attempts with my grigri she told me I was doing it incorrectly but wouldn't show me the correct way so I was only allowed to climb and not belay. After asking several people also climbing they told me I was doing it correctly, without someone climbing, so I was pretty upset she failed my certification. I would expect better from the employees, I understand there are belaying classes but it seriously would've taken 5 seconds to explain how I was doing it wrong, even though I wasn't. I have climbing experience so I don't feel I need a whole class, just a nudge in the right direction. I intend on coming back but that employee kinda put me in a sour mood. Also it should not smell so strongly of feet, I understand the smell of sweat but even when it's not busy the whole place stinks. Other rock climbing gyms I've been to don't smell unless it's packed and it just smells like sweat, not feet. They should shut down for a couple of days and disinfect all of the holds, floor, matts, and other equipment. Someone will contract something and it will spread and come back to bite the business in the butt

If you go here to belay, you're in luck. Bouldering... Not so much. There is only a small cramped back corner section for bouldering, and routes are rarely changed. The whole building smells like stinky feet constantly. The smell is not an issue at the Lehi location. I've also witnessed people climbing without shoes. So it seems to be a sanitation issue. If you're wanting to boulder I'd suggest going 15-20 minutes south to the Lehi location. This location is close to my home so I'll continue going as it is decent enough to get a climb in.

They feature bouldering, Top Rope, and Lead Climbing. You will need a partner to rope climb. They do have a partner finder board, and it is relatively easy to find a partner.
No loose chalk. Chalk balls only.
Yes, but waivers can be filled out at the entrance
Heyo, as a member your daughter has the use of one guest pass per month allowing her to bring someone in for free. Granting you full access to the facility, you could certainly join any of the yoga classes. Alternatively, most Momentums offer yoga day passes for $10.
$70/mo or $20/day. $11-12 for gear if getting harness/shoes/belay device all at once.
Absolutely, great time to learn.
I doubt it. I don't know for sure, but climbing ropes can handle a LOT of weight.
Entry is 20 for as long as you're belay device is 3 and harness is 2
There is a sign up list for partners. Side note a group of us are going at 530 tonight (Saturday 2/3) for top rope. Come! Look for blue hair.
Depending in what you ate looking to do and rentals needed. It starts at $10
