When we travel we like to find local restaurants instead of fast food places or tourist traps. The Farmer Girl Restaurant is one of the best we have found. We were treated like locals by the friendly waitress. Our food came quickly and was just as we expected. The lemon roasted chicken, one of the daily specials, was absolutely amazing. The chicken salad plate was delicious. And the julienne salad was more than I could eat. It was loaded with ham, roast beef, cheeses and an egg. The lettuce, cucumbers and tomatoes were fresh and tasty. I wish we had eaten less so that we could sample the pies in the cooler. They looked homemade and tasty. Try them if you are there!

Its standard American fare. Steak, meatloaf, burgers, salad/soup bar ... All pretty affordable.
No you don't need reservation only if you're going to have a big party coming in then you need them so they get a heads up that you're coming
No but everything is excellent and fairly priced. Normal breakfast food.
Yes ..they have great roasted turkey dinners and many others to choose from and traditional pecan pies with a fabulous soup and salad bar
