DO NOT GO HERE!!! If you ever want to be happy again and get your life back, do NOT ever call or go to Valley Creek or any affiliated mental health providers in the area. The know how to make people MORE depressed and take great pleasure in doing so.

This is a long overdue review. My experience with Valley Creek crisis has been nothing short of amazing. Having a mentally ill family member who doesn’t want help is frustrating and overwhelming especially when the laws are a big part of the problem. Valley Creek was able to give a complete novice in this process (me) the information and tools to help create a plan and get them the help they need. They pointed me to resources and options available so I could use these to get him the help along the way to where we are now which is much better than when I started this journey. They do so much, support, referrals and inform but understand that you need to take all that information and put it to use. You must do the work for your loved one, no one else will. I am extremely grateful to them.

I know there are limited options for crisis interventions depending on which county you live in, but if you have ANY other options, please do not go through this place, especially for psychosis situations because they are NOT trained adequately! They are not trained in psychosis crisis situations, like to tell individuals who are seeking intervention options, “well, we’re pretty busy right now to handle your situation”, and do not take an individuals safety seriously. Don’t work at a crisis line if you can’t support those who need it most, this is why there is such a mental health epidemic in our country because of places like this, who will only seek to do anything when there are lives on the line.
