Thanks for helping us recycle. There’s a tree blocking your sign to see your place. It makes it harder for people to find the business. Trim the tree or move the sign.

Unfortunately, I drove all the way out here (30+mins) to find that they do not have recycling bins for you to drop off when they are closed (despite other misleading reviews?) It is not very clear on the website..

The bins have been permanently removed. Check with your city to see if they have a drop off site.
Absolutely...
Yes they do, and there is no charge.
It depends on what you're disposing. Cardboard, paper and plastic can be put in the bins that are outside the building at anytime. For cans and metal recycling is best to be there during office hours 7 am - 3:30 pm
I dont remember if I saw any cloth recycling there but I do know some stores like American eagle etc have textile recycling bins.
It is the hope of those working and encouraging the recycling efforts in city government, those picking up and hauling the material, and those sorting and reclaiming at sort centers to only have recyclable material put in recycling containers and that non-recyclable and contaminated materials be placed in the trash receptacles.
Not exactly sure what you are asking about a 10% non-recycling limit. The material at this facility is sorted with a combination of conveyor belts and screens with workers that are also sorting out contaminated material that is not recyclable. We encourage all to check with their local city guidelines on what should be included in the recycle bins.
No, Rocky Mountain Recycling is not equipped to process automotive material. You may want to check with Metro Recyclers at 801-335-9800.
Unfortunately, we do not have the capacity to accept cans of paint. Please check with the city or county offices where you live to see what they recommend for the collection centers for paint.
No
There will no longer be bins outside for dropoff. If you don't have recycling pickup at your residence contact your city to see if they have dropoff at there public works dept. I've heard the south salt lake transfer station has recycling drop off.
Currently there is no trade-in value for plastic bottles. Residents are encouraged to put the plastic bottles in their curbside recycling bins or at recycling center drop-off locations so as many bottles as possible can be captured and recycled through processing operations.
There are containers at the Salt Lake City dump.
They don't sell to the public.
There are two large bins in the front of the building. Cardboard can go in either of them.
You need to find the glass drop off location for your city.
I don't go that one much
Absolutely 👍
They do not buy plastic bottles. Only aluminum cans.
Yes they do pay. I'm not sure what the current pay scale is.
Yes, shredded paper is accepted. If you are bringing it in your personal vehicle, it can be transported in plastic bags or cardboard boxes. If it is bagged, our workers must remove the plastic bags during the sorting process.
No they dont have anything that you can pick up.
Only certain types of plastic are acceptable for recycling. NOT ANY KIND.
Well you hesrd it, right from Thomas mouth. They take only ite.s that you can recycle fadt and easy
As far as i know they answer the phone...
