Origins without a doubt saved my life. I had previously been to numerous addiction treatment centers which only served to keep me separated from subtstances and life. Origins introduced me to the solution and how that solution could give me a life worth living, which I have been doing for the 4 years since I left treatment. The staff (techs, clinical, admin, aftercare, alumini, doctors, housekeeping, nurses, kitchen staff, etc...) are all amazing and want to see you get well and succeed. If I could give 100 stars I would, 5 does not seem to be enough! Owe this place my life.

March 1 2019 admitted April 10 2019 asked to stay longer June 1 2019 released Now the good part , because of Origins staff I'm sober 3 years 10 days but who's counting ! biggest 3 months of my life - it wasn't a holiday it was an experience that needed one big ingredient ( for me to surrender ) origins explained to me what surrender looked like and I am so grateful Lastly they prepared me for my departure and life moving forward ( tar mac plan ) every detail from where I was going that first day of freedom to the food I put in my body - I was in super bad shape - ( heart attack ) self care took on new a new meaning - Dr Sue to Ashley to Bart and all the nurses that made sure I followed understood this was life or death errand ! So today I'm Blessed to say Thank you to all and I hope if anyone gets the opportunity to go to origins become a sponge and watch what happens ! Land of miracles Thank you all Brian G Love Ya Brian G

My name is Ed Defeo I spent 30 days at origins in west palm beach. The program at origins is a twelve step program based from the Big Book of Alcoholics Anonymous. The staff was excellent including the detox department the medical team and all the counselors on the mens unit including the after care coordinator. I did what they suggested when I returned home got a home group a sponsor and did 90 meetings in 90 day worked through the steps and have been sober for 4 and half months thank you to origins and there staff

This is not a medically safe place and has one MD on staff so prescriptions can be filled. Most other medical staff are nursing students at best. They market their treatment center as safe, luxurious and it is not. If you have insurance, they medicate you to the point of low functioning where they tell family ots important that you stay, and then they keep collecting the insurance money. There are any good places who are trained properly and safely for your best interest, but this is not the facility, I promise. There are many reason why they are investigated by the FBI. Going to your local ER to be medically treated safely to help your addiction, otherwise Betty Ford in Minnesota will actually be of help for your recovery. It's hard enough going through rehab, don't make it harder by going to to this facility.

You have to go through the courts to get him mandated or Marchman Acted. You'll also need a lawyer or public defender to advocate for him court. No facility can get him out, they can just guarantee to except him upon release. i dont know when you posted this but I was in your sons situation at one time.
