They never got back to me but I was not calling for myself. I think that they are probably over worked and understaffed. But I know that they care about people.

What kind of help do they provide?
They have in the past. You may havr to use a couple of agencies. They also help with furniture and food baskets. I'm sure if the salvation army can't help they have a list. I rhink welfarw has a list also. Maybe unemployment too. You may also want to look online. Hopw it helps.
