First visit to NYC since pre-covid. Was delighted to find Badichi still operating. Stopped by for a new "NYC belt", delighted with my purchase. Great service and great fun to assemble your "one of a kind" belt.

March 3, 2022 at 6:15PM: Horrendous service and poor treatment of customers I walked into the store, and it was unattended. I waited for an employee to come to add additional notches to my belt. When she finally did arrive, at 6:45PM with food and drink in hand, she said that we closed at 6PM… she said this when Google and the store itself post the closing hour at 7PM. When I explained that to her, all she said was to bad and to come by some other time. This was a favorite store for me up until now, but the customer service has clearly deteriorated to the point where I won’t return.

I purchased two belts, men’s black with a grey etching of the NYC skyline, the other, a woman’s grey belt with a gold buckle. These are luxurious and stylish belts, comparable to the top brands of the world. I was told the leather was Spanish, my buckle is solid brass gold plated. As a jeweler myself, I look for quality and detail, custom fit and creative design. Five stars to Badichi for executing all of the above!
