I went to this facility, I was told I was completely covered under my insurance. They wanted to do a procedure on me, I felt very uncomfortable about it and went for a second opinion. My second opinion told me it was completely unnecessary and would not do me any good. I did not return. I paid my co-pay two months later I received a bill for $170 saying it was toward my deductible… They never informed me that it was out of network. The other doctor I went to told me they were very shady practice and do a lot of unnecessary procedures I highly recommend not to make any appointments at this facility. In fact the doctor I did go to for the procedure I needed, he told me this is a common practice for them to make money and he thought he might report them. I certainly hope he does!

I started going to United Vein Center in Port St. Lucie Fl in 6-2020. At the time my insurance information was taken and checked and appointments were made. No mention from the staff as to what was covered. I assumed my insurance paid all but the co pay. I was happy with the service and results. I had several appointments in the following months up until 12-2020. At every appointment I was asked for my $20.00 co payment and gladly paid. After several treatments I was told that a waiting period of 5 to 6 months was required. In June of 2021 I called the Port St. Lucie office for an appointment. I was told Dr. Q. had transferred to Tampa. I decided to go to the Burns Ave. location in Palm Beach county as it was more convenient. I made an appointment, had a consultation, gave my insurance info again, though it was all the same as before. Told I’d have to wait the certain amount of time so my insurance could be checked. They made my appointments and several follow ups. I had several treatments, all was well. I had to go north for Thanksgiving and my fathers 97 th birthday. Got back in early December. Soon after got a bill from UVC for over $1,700. UNBELIEVABLE. I never received a bill or statement from them in 18 months. No one ever talked to me at either office about what I would have to pay out of pocket. I went to appointments for 18 MONTHS. No one ever said anything about me owing any $$$. What office ever works that way. I have been in communication with the billing department in Tampa several times. I’m so dissatisfy and disappointed with their response. I cannot get in touch with the offices I visited, they will not let me get through to them. So I’m mystified and frustrated with what has transpired. So, I seem to have no choice but to pay up, which I would have done at the beginning or chosen not to be treated. Now I have no choice, or I go to collection. My credit history is near perfect and I’m not about to screw it up now. In other words No Choice.

They except most insurances except Medicaid. You could also go in for a free screening.

Hey, it's not necessarily only the bulging veins that can be a problem, you have to go in and have them check to see which veins are bad. Our veins can branch out into there own and have limbs that doesn't connect to others which is what causes pain and cramps in the lower body. I had to have 6 treatments in totat (5 completed already); 4 lazer treatments and 2 injections to help with removing the bulging veins. I have my last treatment tomorrow on my right leg, 🤞hopefully because my left leg was worst and I was told I may need another injected treatment. The treatments have to be done one week apart with switching legs, that's of course if you have vein issues in both legs. As for the pricing, my insurance covered it, I only had to pay my copay because it was causing me really severe pain and cramps, I don't remember the total cost of it all. You can contact then for a consultation however. I am posting this after 6 months are so, I am unfortunately still getting really back cramps
