Have not yet stayed here but drove by and finally stopped. It is a beautiful spot, the sites seem big and far away from each other. I can see how it could get easily trashed and abused but we didn't see any evidence of that. Saco River beach is a bonus for sure

I love this place, would definitely camp there again!

Best camping! Only 8 sites. No crowds Gotta carry all your grear in though. 1/3 mile in. Great hikes near by.

Stated $8 online but $15 when we arrived. Big sites 10 min walk in, vented outhouse was clean, swimming area on the river. Would go again.

Not sure if there is a rule against it. But ive seen plenty of dogs there.
