One of the most amazing places.. Drinks are awesome.. and the fried entities are out of this world!!

It's hard writing a bad review for a place you've frequented for years, but we've watched both Parker's locations go downhill recently. Here's our last visit: 1. I ordered the soup & salad special and wings and asked for all the food to come out together. Waitress didn't put wings on the order. So I had to remind her, and we got the wings well after finishing the rest of the food. 2. Note to waitress: don't put a dirty sharing plate down in front of the customer, scrape the dirt off with your fingernail, and then still give it to the customer. 3. No one checked back on us to see how any of our food was. So our drinks were empty until a manager stopped by after the wings had arrived. 4. I ordered the milder Cajun wings but got wings much hotter than the Hot Cajun wings. I stopped eating after 4 of the 12 wings when a manager asked how they were. When I explained that I got the wrong wings, she asked if it was still a pleasurable experience. I said, "No," and the manager's response was that she couldn't see what the problem was but would look into what the cook had done. End of story.

Holy Cow, Pig and Chicken, this place is amazing! My wife and I were traveling from Lincoln to Omaha, got hungry, and pulled off the interstate for lunch. We Goggled nearby restaurants and discovered Parker's Smokehouse. The instant you walk in and take a whiff of the smoked meats, you know you are in for a treat. After scanning their extensive menu, my wife and I both ordered the Pit Master sandwich. This will fill even the emptiest of stomachs. The combination of Texas beef brisket, Georgia pulled pork and chunks of hot link sausage is incredible. The service and management were friendly and care deeply for their customers. So, if you are looking for great food, service and prices, skip the interstate and drive up Highway 6 to Ashland, NE. It is Well worth the drive. I know I have found a new BBQ home!

BBQ is the best around! Ribs are phenomenal, the place is nice and clean, and the service is excellent The reason for taking off a star is because I tried the prime rib last time I was there. And was extremely disappointed... I can honestly say it was the worst prime rib I've ever had. Ordered it medium rare, and it was like chewing a piece of rubber! And not only was it a super chewy, but it had no flavor to it at all. Absolute waste of money. I didn't finish or take it home... luckily I did get a couple ribs on the side to satisfy me 🙂
