Positive: Staff upon checkout was polite. Shower worked great. Negative: Had to wait 15-20 min for staff to come to front desk when I arrived. Others also arrived waiting and then called # to only get a hang up. Furniture had burns and rips.70's decor. Hallways stunk. Very scary area of town and sketchy people. Bad vibe

When we got in the room there was a roach in the bathroom. So I killed it and took it too the front desk. Being as it was about 10pm and all my money went to the hotel, they stitched our room. The new room smelled musty, was super humid even though it was on the other end of the building from the pool, had brownish colored cobwebs and a spider, and a kids basketball sized water damage mark on the ceiling. We were tired and running late to an appointment at the hospital when I went to check out and the person at the desk argued with me when I called to ask if she looked at the room. She then told me that I was wrong and there was no water damage or cobwebs. We are never going back to them. They say they have breakfast online (I booked through booking.com) but when you get there, there are signs saying they only do coffee because breakfast is against company policy. We almost decided to sleep in the car but knew they would refuse to give me my money back, after entering the second room. Rooms 230 and 134. I’d give zero stars if I could. I tried to be nice and not make a second customer panic when checking out. I should have mentioned the roach loud and clear.

Positive: The friendliness of the front desk staff was appreciated. Also, the room was spacious and with appealing decor. I was glad to have a refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker. Negative: The biggest shortfall was the absence of recycling in a city that has done so for years. With the housekeeping carts, it should be easy to add a container for recyclables. Second, I was disappointed in the temperature of the hot water; not high enough!

Positive: Easily surpassed expectations for the price point. Several updates evident. Very good Mexican restaurant adjacent to hotel. Negative: No elevator (only two floors so NBD).
