The food here was amazing! Sushi was fresh and came out so fast, habachi was plentiful and delicious. When we first sat down at least 4 different people asked for our drink order, like- which one is our sever and we said we weren’t ready 🙄 Our server was new so didn’t have many answers to our questions. Also we ended up being the last ones there and felt pretty pressured to leave, although it was only 9pm. It was my birthday so I didn’t care about any of this and it was a great dinner 🥳

The sushi, for the most part, is good. The Boston roll I received was weird. It was filled with shrimp and lettuce. Perhaps this is how it’s made at Red Lotus??? My husband and I have tried quite a few appetizers for take out and they were unfortunately not flavorful. The portions also did not match the price point. The shrimp shumai is quite good here. My mom ordered the general tso’s lunch special & I was honestly appalled at the complete lack of flavor & really stingy portion of fried rice. The chicken tasted like it was fried then tossed in sweet and sour sauce. The rice portion had to be about a 1/3c. It was pretty unexpected. Most of the positive reviews I’ve read seem to be for dining in. Is it possible there is a different cook who prepares take out? For takeout, I’ll come for sushi (except Boston roll). Id also consider dining in as it seems others have a great experience & I would really like to enjoy the food here as well. The take out service is always pleasant/courteous.

The Red Lotus Restaurant's food was delicious. The hibachi grilled filet was very juicy in a savory sauce. The hibachi schrimp was tender and succulant. Both meals came with a very generous portion of noodles, fried rice, and sauteed vegetables. We also had sushi, which had large chunks of advocados and crab. The environment was very relaxing and the choice of music easy to listened to while dining. Our waiter provided very good service, tending to our dining needs with a great sense of humor. The staff was pleasant and the owner, who is the executive chef, greeted us and took time to inquire about if we enjoyed our meal. It was a very pleasant dining experience for an evening out.
