I admitted myself to Mulberry behavioral health on 12/17/21 for hallucinations, suicidal thoughts and ideation and stayed for seven days. When I first got there they showed me to my room where I spent the longest night of my life. In the morning I had breakfast after that I washed it down with Seroquel, Gabapentin, vistaril and aripiprazole. After a few days I caught up on my sleep and the hallucinations went away. I was discharged on 12/25/21 the day before Christmas.

Doctor Q wasn't helpful at all. I was panicking and freaking out, and he didn't help at all. He changed my meds, but that didn't really help. I tried to leave against medical advice, because I didn't feel safe, and like I was being treated properly. They just keep throwing drugs at you, and don't really explain. I got some of the worst news of my life while I was under their care, and they gave me a shot to make me sleep, so I would stop panicking. Then the next thing I know I'm being woken up saying if I don't go to the next group my insurance isn't going to pay for anything.

No. I stayed there in July of 2016 for 5 days and in January of 2015 for a day and a half. On both occasions, we were not allowed to have cell phones. If we brought them with us, they would be confiscated until we left to go home. The visitors couldn't have them either. My grandpa visited me while I was in there and they asked him to hand over any cell phones or electronics until the visit was over. They give these things back to you whenever you leave to go home though. So not to worry. If they take your cell phone, you'll get it back and I think they just keep your phone in a bin behind the nurses station until you get discharged and leave. Then they give it back. Plus you're not allowed to wear strings in your shoes or clothes and no belts or jewelry. They're very particular about what you can have in there and what you can't. They are very nice about it though and they will give you the option to let them cut the strings out of your hoidie or pants so you will still be able to wear
No, due to the possibility others may have allergies.
Probably not
I think to be admitted, to any hospital for mental issues, one has to gp through the ER to be assessed. There should be a number to call them if you look at the listing on Google.
No they do not admit young children
In my experience you have to go through the emergency room and it will have to be a dangerous situation (to themselves or others)
