We love this campground. We have been here for 2 years it is very peaceful. They have made many improvements and continue to do so. Ron the son is very helpful and can’t do enough to make our stay comfortable. I am so sorry we had to leave. We were there 5 years Can’t say enough about this kind family. Thank you for great memories

Excellent experience at Gentiles, owners were very helpful, kept a spot open for us when we were in a jam moving from out of state, always responds to requests or questions immediately, friendly environment and very well maintained. Planning many more visits with my family.

If you're looking for the newest and nicest and best, you'll be disappointed if you stay here. But if you're looking for a family owned campground with soul and fantastic service, you'll love Gentile's. Established in the 60's, I can only assume they are on the second generation of ownership, which means something to me. The sites were clean and spacious. There are several full time residents and some of those units are somewhat run down. But there are also many very nice units for what seem to be full time or at least long time residents. I love the old touches and hints of time gone by. The coin-op gazebo is neat. The playground is whimsical and my girls loved it. There's also a stoplight, which is neat. We arrived after hours and were met by Ron. He took my money and then guided us up to our spot. He even left the pool open after hours because my girls really wanted to swim and we had been on the road all day. To top it off, I I overpaid and he, completely unsolicited, hiked back to my site to refund me the money. Wouldn't hesitate to stay there again!
