Called the Humane Society and they told me to call here since I live in Williamson County. Even though I literally live 3 miles from this shelter, I am outside of their jurisdiction so they can't help. Whoever answered the phone was not helpful in the slightest.

They were amazing. I had to get rid of my cat due to health issues and she wasn't there even 24 hours and was adopted. I was worried she would be there a long time, but she is in a good home. Caitlin was such a huge help!!!

My daughter adopted a wonderful new puppy from here that has been rescued. The staff was so helpful and nice. Please help rescue an animal and do so from these shelters.

You can drive to the facility. By noon on weekdays
They are as no-kill as they physically can be! Some times an animal is brought to them that is just too severely injured or sick. If a dog has severe aggression that can't be tamed down, there's not much that can be done. Of what I know, they have one of the lowest euthenasia rates in Illinois!
