You have to go to the DMV and make them inside the door
Is the DMV phone disconnected? I have called for a week now with what sounds like a busy tone or disconnection....

Don't think so
If you are 18 a d have had your learners for a year can you go to dmv and get the license

I would think so. For sure. As long as you've had the learner's for an entire year. Without a learner's first though, I believe you would have to be 19. But you should be good!

Yes, but you need to get an appointment online..
I made an on line appointment for December 18, 2020 to renew my license. I can not find a confirmation and I believe the time is 10:30 am. Will I get a confirmation from DMV?

I can't say for sure. I made mine in the office. I would call or check online to be sure but they should send you an email or text. Good luck
My step son is doing his behind the wheel testing on the 8th of Dec. Does he need to provide his own car or is one there for him to used?
So I bought a truck from a private party. No tags. In Chesterfield I can't get an appointment to register until mid August. Can I drive my vehicle as long as I have insurance and proof of an appointment?

Probably not...I would contact other locations to see if you can get in sooner...or try calling main number.
My son got a July appointment then got me one for Saturday immediately after at a different location this past Friday keep checking at multiple locations
Is there a graph or chart that shows the customer flow at your location on an hourly basis. I'm trying to plan my visit and avoid the busiest times. Thank You

Between 9am-4pm, M-F,are the slackest times to visit the State Fair, so keep that in your memory bank for next year.
Is it true that you can now get you license back if you owed finesfor nothing

The new law went into effect July 1st that even if you have fines with the court that they will reinstate your licenses due to it was cause so much issues with people being able to get back and forth to work. Also that is a reason Saturday DMV was open later than normal
The one you used to have to put on your windshield
In va do u have to do 3 point turn or parallel park in to get ur driver license.

I dont think so..definitely not a 3 point turn. I got my licence back in 2016 after not having it for several years, & had 2 take written & driving test...the female driving tester did not require me to parallel park & i didnt tell her but i was grateful 4 not having to. Written test trys to mess you up, the way they word the questions, you have to pay attention & make sure you fully comprehend the questions, especially the 1st seven Q's...if U get 1 of first 7 questions wrong, thats it , U R done for the day, & have 2 come back another day...that is how i messed up.
do they provide the car for the drivers test or do you need to have one?

You will need to have your own vehicle available for the test. Although, Driving schools provide the vehicle for you.
The VA DMV issues antique license plates for vehicles that are:
Over 25 years old (based on model year) prior to January 1 of the current year. AND.
Used ONLY for: Club events, exhibitions, and similar activities. Occasional pleasure driving, up to 250 miles from your home address.
I recently moved to Virginia from North Carolina. I have a NC drivers license. What is required to get a VA license.

Two forms of ID (Government/state issued photo ID/drivers license, birth certificate, social security card, or US Passport), proof of legal presence (original or state issued birth certificate, US passport), proof of Virginia residency (utility bill with your address, USPS change of address confirmation letter, auto insurance document with current address, or payroll check; all of which should be less than 2 months old), and finally something with your social security number (SSN card or W2s)
