Have eaten here a few times, the food was really good, so last night me and my boyfriend decided to get take out for a romantic night in. AGAIN very good food, steak was excellent. They also give a military discount which 👏 is great. The only thing I didn’t understand was they charged us $1.50 take out fee for each entree, so we paid extra to eat our food at home? First time I’ve ever heard of that, had I known I would of got cleaned up and ate there and used their electric, utensils and dishware lol

Everything was clean. Service was good. The food was ok. Nothing wrong with it at all. Nothing spectacular, though, either. Perfectly fine. The front of the restaurant was opened up to let the breeze and fresh air in. That was lovely.

Amazing food, atmosphere and drinks. Seriously their food is nothing short of amazing and the staff are friendly. The owner is very friendly, tentative and passionate about his food , drinks and service. He knows his stuff. Great for families as well. Highly recommended!

A friend and I traveled from Erie Pennsylvania to a gun show in Hermitage PA and out of the blue we picked J. Hicks on the Square for a place to stop for lunch.. The place was excellent, great staff, fast service and excellent food! If you’re going to be in the area it’s definitely a place to stop if you want to enjoy your lunch in a great atmosphere! Larry
