This facility is the most loving and caring place. My Mother Miss. Willie Jene Freeman is in Room 406, she’s only been in Carolina Rehabilitation for like three weeks. Everyone here is so humble and they all act like family! This company love each one of they’re patients and as I walk in front desk clerks Lily and Ayana speak and welcome you. Get around the corner, you have all our lovely Queens (staff) greeting me, and to hear all of them say some that my Mother is sweet and she’s going to be fine. This is the kind of people that shows a lot of love not only my Mom, all the patients! October 27, 2017 I almost lost my Queen. She was diagnosed with Dementia and Epilepsy at an early age of 63. She was in Chapel Hill for a year. After she came back to Fayetteville she went to a Rehabilitation Center that treated her so poorly. They didn’t care about none of the loved ones. You never know who you run into when dealing with family members. One evening I just happened to come see my Mom, two of the nurses were talking unprofessionally to her and didn’t know I was coming. I went ballistic and said you will never have to deal with her ever again! I had to contact the Directors and let them know this will not be tolerated. Imagine if this was your family member, would you want someone to mistreat? She was missing doctors appointments and I was paying them to take her, it wasn’t done. So I had to take the responsibility of getting my Mom to and from Chapel Hill. Her head was shaved because had a brain aneurysm so you can’t play with lives. It hurt my heart because, I never knew that it would be my Mom to feel abused with bad language and just unhappiness. Miss. Freeman used to cook every day and love to buy plants and watch her some Young and the Restless. I wish God could turn the hands of time and bring her back to how she used to be always cleaning and just doing what she loves. She’s been married for forty five years with my Father September 26th. Every person that walk the hallways of Carolina Rehabilitation is blessed and I love you all so much! Thank you for taking a huge responsibility of helping my Mom heal and feel good to be there. I know I typed a lot but this had to be said. You all are blessed, loving and a happy family here! Each and everyone will always prosper in everything they touch like gold! Thank You All… Odessa L. My mother is being treated well. She is comfortable and the staff understands how to help her make the best of her health circumstances.

I was on the Rehab side, not the nursing home side. My sister was at Village Green for 3 or 4 years in the nursing facility. She died just before Christmas. I'm not sure about your question, but when a person becomes debilitated and cannot be cared for at home, they have to have to be placed in a facility. My sister had the best care, but only because her daughter was there every day making sure.
There is someone here who can let you in after 8 pm. You need to ring the doorbell.
I honestly don't know. I came here as a patient in February.
There are about 10 totally private - 1 bed rooms. I have had one each time ( two knee replacements and a back surgery) that I have been there. However, there are hard to come by so I had to go into a semi-private room on two occasions until the larger private room came available. On the last visit, I was placed into a two bed room but I was the only patient in that room. Only problem is the room is smaller. Hold out for Hall 6 if you can . Room is nicer and care seems to be better. Would definitely go back there if the need ever came about again!
