Food and drinks were excellent!! Service was horrid. Four people behind the bar one foot away from us and it took almost 20 minutes for two of our group to get a drink. We were told at 6:30 if we waited tables large enough to accommodate our group would be open at 7:30. We tried to do karaoke but had to wait in line behind three employees before we could sing. No one from the show at the Egyptian theatre was allowed to be served after the show. This is why dekalb will always be a lost cause. Drive ten minutes out and go to Schmidt’s in Elburn good food good service and no townie attitude. Now I remember why I haven’t gone to dekalb in twenty years

Friendly helpful staff. Good selection of beers and liquors at reasonable prices. Dart boards and pinball machines as well as the plethora of tv screens make for a fun time for everyone. Great sauces for the chicken wings which are cooked perfectly. Great burgers, poor boys and sandwiches. Fries are a bit disappointing. Other sides are very tasty. Parking is sparse, there is a lot a block away but the trip makes it hard for wheelchairs.
