A nice place to campout and we enjoyed our stay Resort staff are very friendly and helpful. There is a small store and restaurant (which is open on weekends). Flush toilet bathrooms and (pay) shower facilities are very small and limited and in only one location by the main office. Porta potties are placed throughout the campsite areas. Many of the campsites are utilized as season annual rentals. Fresh water is piped to each campsite. There is no electricity, cell, or internet service available to campers. A primitive boat launch is available but as the lake level gets lower its access to the main lake will not be possible. There are areas specifically developed for equestrian activities and camping.

Review is just for the store.... prices are high! Watch that you are not overcharged as I was yesterday. Charged for 3 ice cream bars when we only bought 2. Charged $5.99 for a single 3 oz. bag of chips that had a $4.99 sticker..... outrageous! Nick rang us up. Got a refund for ice cream but he said it will take 7 to 10 days to process. They only take cards NO cash. Surly service.

Ahhh. I didn't care for it at all. Other than the chipmunks ... it wasn't a great exspirence for me. This place needs more flushing toilets. Needs free showers that don't take long to warm up. Store ... over priced. And not safe for outside entry... lots came to eat at restaurant... and did not sleep there. So with that .. Kids are not safe. Don't care to go back.

This place is trashed. Broken glass and trash all over the campsite. Fires burning without any education or concern for high fire danger in August, but much of the neighboring forest area is completely burned from the Caldor fire last year. This place is unsafe and feels icky - not the great outdoors experience that I was looking for.

They are not open mon-wed they open at 4pm on Thursdays and 11am Friday-sunday
We had no service and neither did our friends.
My question is can I reserve a Sunday horseback ride for my family of six? Month of august. What is cost for 2-3 hour ride?
Hi Gia. Yes we welcome dogs, but must follow leash laws at all times. Thank you
I believe sunday for church
There are maps in the office and camp store for horses and hiking.
All I can say is if you got the quarters the showers are there and as long as you don't overuse the warm water for campers pretty sure it's all good then staying near plasse's for for Summers never had anyone give me a problem about using the shower's
The fishing is great. Just a couple of weeks ago there was a 4, 5 and 6 pounder caught. Not sure about off the shore fishing but trolling seems to be the ticket!
