Used PODS to move accross country twice, as well as storing all my stuff for a year at their facility. Customer service is great.

It's one thing to be expensive and provide a valuable service, it's another to be expensive and have poor service. I had three containers that costed $780 a month to store plus mileage, delivery fees, and other misc costs. Two pod deliveries were placed in the wrong locations. One pod was damaged during pickup. In hindsight, we should've gone with a different company.

The whole process just went so smoothly! I was amazed at how well PODS had their system down. A well greazed machine! I got the night-before communication with my 3-hour window for delivery and later for pickup. The driver(s) all called as they said they would within an hour of the drop/pickup. And they were all so friendly!! I had some good chats with them all. And all my stuff was delivered 1300 miles away and everything was just as I had packed it. Not one casualty! I thought at first they were a bit pricey but my sister used another company to move the rest of the stuff from our father's house and they had nothing but problems. All that to save maybe a couple hundred dollars. I decided right then that this long-distance service was worth every dime!
