We pick a random park to walk every Sunday and this was a very nice surprise. Well maintained, the trails added interest and variation. I loved the light hills. The scenery was beautiful and peaceful. Definitely will be back!!!

Almost don't want to rate this park for fear many others will show up.... It's a hidden gem.

Questions & Answers

What is the steepest trail in this park

Overlook trail is the steep one. Unimproved trail, moderately steep, some rope hand rails. Can be muddy and lots of exposed roots on trail. Worth the walk, but eye ball out before you start.

Hello Charles. Those round spheres are called concretions. Here is an interesting article from nearby Highbanks Metro Park that also has concretions: https://www.metroparks.net/wp-content/uploads/2017/04/Concretions.pdf

Completely hit or miss. Haven't seen any but wouldn't be surprised if there were some there.
