I have been to this location many times and always felt as though the service I received was excellent, staff welcoming and friendly……..until today!! The young lady was rude, condescending and just plain nasty. I was there for a while and watching the staff interact with customers and as always was so impressed until my turn and I apparently drew the person that was either having a bad day or is just in general a real PIA!! I won't forget her as she had very distinctive blue hair and if I need to go back and I draw her again, I would prefer going out in the lobby and enter my info again and wait another 30 min rather than deal with this person again. So disappointed as I have been so happy here previously but this individual should not be permitted to work with the public..efficient but brutally nasty! REVISION: 10/7/22 I received a call from Mr. Poole (Deputy Registar for this location) and he indicated he had spoken with the young lady and indicated that he felt as tho she has learned from this situation and will be better with customers in the future. He apologized and I’m very impressed with the fact that he did this and took responsibility for it. All good

I just moved up here from SC and had a lot of anxieties about getting my license, transferring title ownership, then changing state of title over to OH and getting tags. This BMV is miles ahead on comfort, friendliness, and speed compared to any DMV I'd been to in SC. Very fast, very courteous, and they knew exactly what needed done. Incredible experience compared to what I'm used to, these ladies deserve some praise.

The workers are really friendly and helpful I will definitely be back

The lady that processed my passport was awesome. I was only there about 10-15 min on a Saturday morning.

This is only a License Bureau. You need to visit an Exam Station. Google ohio bmv
Yes. They issue it for a nominal fee if the required documents are provided.
Yes they do. Samsung Pay worked here too
I HAVE ONE. YOU MIGHT GO TO YOUR DOCTOR AND THEY WRITE A SCRIPT FOR IT. YOU THEN TAKE THAT SCRIPT TO THE LICENCE BUREAU AND TBEY WILL ISSUE IT TO YOU BASED ON THE NUMBER OF YEARS YOUR DOCTOR WROTE IT FOR. THEY HAVE A 3 AND A 5 YEAR OR A PERMANENT ONE.
No, but they do in Huberheights
No. You can do your driver's exam in Xenia and Lebanon.
You dont need the flight compliant license until 2023. They've extended the deadline. As long as your license is current, you will be able to fly.
Probably not
If you have a current Ohio driver's license you do not need documentation
I believe so but I would advise that you first call or look online to make sure.
She only needs to take her DL and submit that for ID "change". I believe the # will remain the same and the fee is $10.00. Nothing else required.
They are open 8am to 5pm weekdays and 8-2 on Saturday.
We went first thing in morning and got right thru. No waiting. All workers were super nice and helpful. Didnt use drive thru.
15 to $20
No.
Regular Hours are 8am to 5pm New Years Eve: 8am to 12pm New Years Day: Closed
I dont think they'd pay you for doing what you're supposed to do
You need the title and your driver's license. You can do this online and print on demand. get it here: services.dps.ohio.gov/Dealers/NonDealer/PrivateSales required documents: www.bmv.ohio.gov/vr-firstissuance.aspx#gsc.tab=0
Yes. You'll also have to provide a bill (with current address), your birth certificate, SS card. The DL changed to the new ones.
Give them a ring and ask. They will let know whether she can or can't.
You can get it online
No you you don't have to make an appointment. I renewed mine three days ago. It should be arriving by mail in a few days. They gave me a paper temporary in the meantime. 🤗
Lie
No. This is only a license bureau. You need to go to a Driver Exam Station (Huber heights, Lebanon, Xenia, etc.) https://bmv.ohio.gov/locations.aspx
You can call the local office and ask, or search around on the BMV website.
Bring required documents cost varies but probably less than $50
$8.50. Make sure to bring an SSN card and birth certificate just to be safe. I'd check the site to make sure nothing else is needed.
Shouldn't have to, if your license is still valid. Just need to pass a vision test and pay fees.
The testing is done at the Huber Heights location.
I just renewed a valid one, it was about $28, so I imagine expired one will be more than that, I wonder if you have to retest (but probably there is a grace period).
I'm guessing the worst times will be when people go on their lunch break around noon and then after work in the afternoon around 4. I'd avoid those times
My wife was getting a new OH license not too long ago and that was just barely under $30, I'm sure renewal (if not expired) is around there, about $25 I think. Check online to be sure
No. That is done at Huber Heights, Xenia, or Lebanon Driver's Exam Station
I don't think so. I know you can't take your drivers test there.
Yep! Ohio BMV said exactly the sane thing! Thanks all for your help.
You have up to 6 months before you have to retake the writen and driving test.
Hi Alice, While most of us would love to be snuggled up with some cats eating breakfast in bed on a Saturday morning, the folks at the license bureau put on their smiles and tend to the licensing needs of us common folk. It's understandable to wonder if they would accept checks in this day and age, but rest assured they do in fact accept checks for those of us who haven't accepted the 21st century. I hope this helps!
To the best of my knowledge no. However this location is EXTREMELY fast if you haven't been (in my experience at least).
A quiet stir. Perhaps coming from the corner. Aware that his senses were manipulated from the burning question that had so quickly consumed him. He glanced at his pocketwatch, then breifly at his raven by the mantle. He knew the time was now, as never before had it been so clear. 7,457 my boy.
Right next door. Left door is for driver's licenses, right door for car titles.
