It does not teach kendo, but Aikido includes sword techniques as part of its regular practice.

I’m interested in my son attending he is 8 years old what is the success rate?

I don't know the answer to that one. My daughter (15 yrs) only recently started, but they have both adult & juniors classes & I believe they will let him try the first one for free to see if they enjoy it and want to continue. My daughter loves it & I have seen a number of kids of various ages there quite often. I'd suggest taking him to a Saturday morning class to try it out, though any day of the week when they offer the juniors classes should also work for a trial class. (My daughter has only been going for a couple of weeks but is loving it & the instructors are both knowledgeable & patient.)

Yes. I'm 5'4 and was going against men in the 6' range. There are moves that work for both ends of the stature spectrum.

Classes can definitely accommodate people of all ages, but judo as a specific style of martial art is not taught here.
