Long walk up the stairs (239 steps) but a beautiful view of lake Michigan. You can walk back down the stairs or hike into the woods.

My spouse and I enjoyed this trail hike immensely. The stairs will kill you, that’s for sure. But the views are worth it :-) just FYI the maps are not drawn to scale at all so the stairs will take the longest and the actual hike does not take very long.

This was pretty cool! Been in Michigan my whole life and just did this for the first time! Lots of stairs and nice hiking trails! The view was awesome and our kids had fun climbing the stairs!

Cool boardwalk staircase that climbs a sand dune. A lot of folks use this as their exercise. 200+ stairs. Nice view of Holland State Beach and Lake Macatawa. Best done on a cool, less humid day....if those exist. Still had fun. Good way to burn some calories while doing a touristy things.
