Deceiving place of business. They claim they accept Humana then they actually don't and send you a bill in the mail. I hope you consider any other options before visiting this place. At the time of care, I thought "Wow this was great and they accept my benefits" To then be billed double the co-pay of my insurance by the deceiving urgent care. Maxem Health Urgently Avoid.

I took my daughter into this urgent care around 6PM, on a Saturday evening. There was only 1 other patient in the office with us at the time. We were taken back into the room in a very timely manner, and the experience in the beginning was fine. My daughter was diagnosed and prescribed antibiotics that she needed to start ASAP. The provider told me she would send them over to our pharmacy of choice in a few mins. I waited around for and hour and a half at the pharmacy and the doctor still hadn’t called anything in. I decided to wait until the next day thinking maybe the provider got busy or something happened with it getting to the right pharmacy. Fast forward to today, (Sunday)I called first thing at 9 am when they opened. The front desk receptionist apologized and let me know there was an error on their end trying to send the script, and that she would have the provider send it off first thing when she got in. So I waited 2 more hours, called the pharmacy. Still nothing. I called the office back yet again, they said give them 15 mins that the provider was busy. I waited yet ANOTHER 2 hours and STILL NOTHING. This is ABSOLUTELY ridiculous having to wait this long to get my babies antibiotics!! I will not be back. And I still have yet to get her prescription!

Today was the third time I have been to this office, and the third time I was turned away and told there was nothing they could do for me and I should go to the ER. The first time I needed a covid test, and they said they had already see their limit of patients. The second time, I had poison ivy really bad, and they said I just needed some OTC cream. ( I am highly allergic, and my doctor will have to give me a steroid treatment to clear it up. They couldn't fit me in and told me to go to this office.) The third time, today, after suffering with my left arm for a while and not getting any relief, I tried to get an appt with my doc. They didn't have any available times and suggested I go to this clinic and have them x-ray my arm and send her the results. I walked in and asked to be seen. There were no cars in the parking lot, and no patients in the waiting room. It was a little after 4:00, so not even near closing time. I told the girl at the desk that my doc sent me and explained the pain in my arm. She asked what I had done to it. I told her I hadn't injured it, it was just painful, I couldn't stretch it out compr, and I could barely pick up anything. Answering my work phone was nearly impossible. She said they wouldn't x-ray it and I needed to go to the ER for an MRI or cat scan. She's the receptionist!! Another woman near the front desk repeated that I needed to go to the ER. I responded by saying, "So you're telling me that there's nothing you can do to help me?" She said we can see you but we won't be able to do anything. I walked out after speaking my mind about their unwillingness to help me for the third time. I have never been so disturbed by the lack of professionalism and patient care or concern. I was very upset. I was unable to make it to another clinic before they closed, and since it was not an emergency, I chose not to tie up the ER with a non-emergency. I always thought that was the reason there were urgent care clinics. Tomorrow, after another sleepless night of hurting, I will go to Doctors Urgent Care on Robert Blvd. They have always been willing and ready to see patients, and I have never been turned away, even when arriving 10 minutes before they close. I won't ever go to your clinic again.

I was in & out rather quickly. I did go after 6pm. The nurse practitioner was very knowledgeable and friendly. But the woman at the front desk - not so much. She, almost, acted like she was ignoring me when I was explaining why I was there. Overall(besides front desk girl) it was a good experience.
