I brought my son to the ER for excessive bleeding from a blood vessel. Not only was the wait time longer than I could ever imagine, the experience at OLOL was worse than that. We waited from 1am-4:30 before we were taken to a shared room with another patient. When we were taken back to this "space", the entire nurses station were in a group laughing and looking at something on someone's phone. Where is the professionalism??The doctor who came in had "zero" bed side manners and "zero" compassion, let alone no idea what he was doing. He had to go get another doctor to assess the situation and determine how they were going to stop the bleeding. They handed my son a suction to suction his own blood and left he and my husband to handle the situation. My husband had to constantly change gauze while my son suctioned his blood. Where was a nurse/dr to help??? Out at the nurses station without a care in the world for patients. The bleeding wasn't stopping so multiple times I had to go and get someone to help. They didn't...just went back to their business while they told me they would let the dr know. The dr came back one time to apply surgical tape and then left again never to be seen. This continued until 7:30am. I watched a change in shift which wasn't much better. Never saw a single nurse or assistant check on any patient while we were there. No clue what they were doing besides getting paid to sit there. After watching the shift change, I went to ask for the new dr to come see us and discharge us. I will NEVER go there again. Truly better off tending to a situation in the comfort of your own home or driving further to another ER. This was the worst experience of our life and the sad part is that there was NO COMPASSION from a religious hospital.... that's a shame!

Very knowledgeable awesome nurses and staff in general. Although Mitchell Feigley, MD. who’s one of the ER drs should be questioned in his decisions. Was sent home like this for 20 days plus thru a hurricane before surgery!!

I've never been put out of a waiting room before. Only two individuals were allowed to go back with the patient and the other parties thought we'd wait in the 'waiting' area. After about two hours of waiting in the nearly empty 'waiting' room, we were directed to leave and that we had to wait in our cars. I guess that's their policy and we have to follow it. But, sitting in a car during 90 degree temperature is unpleasant.

Yes, you can.
The doctors are skilled to deal with whatever emergency you have. Even a dental emergency. They may give you something for pain until you can see your own dentist.
