I’ve taken pets to Buffalo Small Animal Hospital for 40 years. During the last several years, especially because of Covid, my experience with the vets wasn’t as satisfying. But I was thrilled to meet Dr. Kanaby. She gave the most thorough exam to my new pet and spent a great deal of time talking to me. I was happy to experience expert treatment from caring professionals!

A+ experience. I have an indoor cat that was stressed out going to the vet but they treated me and my little buddy Diego extremely well and we were in and out of their office in about a half hour. I’ll definitely be coming back next year for his yearly checkup.

Everyone here including the front desk staff, vet technicians and vet providers are rock stars, they call you back same day if you have any concerns and respond to emails in a timely manor. I recently had a sick visit for my dog Stormy (without an appointment, they fit me in) and Dr. Dave treated her using various approaches and she left feeling better and is continuing to do well. Dr. Dave has this connection to animals that I can’t describe but it’s amazing to see. Only issue I have and the reason for 4 stars is that they don’t have at least one late day open. I feel like if there are no weekends give me one late day. Either way, I will continue to take Stormy here for care. Also, get the paw plan it will save you TONS of money!

Yes. They also have Paw Plans that have various preventative treatments plus discounts on other treatments and scripts, which are paid monthly.
I'm not sure because I enrolled in the Paw Plan and I pay a monthly fee. Includes annual shots and regular visits to see the vet. I recommend this Animal hospital if you're looking for a vet.
I am not sure if they take walk-ins, however it is fast and easy to call and schedule or boom online, they get you in quickly and you'd have less wait than if they do take walk-ins. I tried to check for the fee, i couldn't see it, I feel like it's around $50ish for the base appt, and added costs for any tests, blood work, etc, imaging was quite pricey! My cat was not eating, but also had a lump, with blood panels and rx food it was around $150, the follow up is slightly cheaper. This is a good vet!
IDK, never needed to do that.
They only do it up to 5 years old...
My puppys first exam was about $140. I wish i would of started the plan at time but decided on the next visit to start...
Depends onthe size of dog. I have a pit. 25.00 a day. They are vety good. They have been caring for ny dog for 5 years. small dogs are usually 12-13.00 a day
They're very compassionate !
It depends. I believe they participate in a spaying program. I
