The facility is open today 7.03.21. But will b closed Sunday and open on Monday. When u go to the facility, there's a posting board next to the gate that reads what holiday(s) the facility is closed (usually days the banks are also closed) hope that helps you....
Yes, it's only closed on Election Day 11/03/2020 the days that it will be closed are posted on a sign for that purpose by the entry gate to the facility. And the next one is Thanksgiving......

If I'm not mistaken. Today they are accepting hazardous materials at the Sag Harbor transfer station. That's for oil based paints and other hazardous materials. Latex(water based) paints can be disposed normally in the town bags, since they aren't considered dangerous.

As far as I know, light bulbs are non recyclable and go in the green town bags.
There's a drop area for bulk items. You have to first drive up to the Overweight Items booth and show the TV to the guy. There might be a charge, not sure.
You can find the bags at area Stop and Shops and King Kullens, also at Cromer's Market, the hardware store in Southampton village, and the Country Deli.
