If I could leave 0 stars, I would. I made an appointment for a cavity with a dark spot on one of my teeth. After receiving attitude from the “dentist” (there’s a new one every 3 months), of him telling me how I’m scared and putting it off and i’m not going to come back (I just went to get it looked at, I had plans). He asked me when the last time Ive been to a dentist was, I replied “6 months ago HERE.” I went back a week later and instead of fixing the tooth, he gave me the fastest uncomfortable root canal on a completely separate tooth saying that i’m lucky and it was a courtesy of his. He’s a hack dentist, unprofessional, rude, and obnoxiously loud for a dentist office that consists of right around 200 sq ft. I now have a decaying tooth and I am never going back there. Do not go here. If you have state insurance, find another office because you will be angry with the excuse they come up with for “results”.

Dr. Patel and his assistance Calmeri did an amazing job with my root canal and crowning, cleaning, and all the work in between. Dr. Patel is very knowledgeable and has great bedside mannerisms; he explained me his suggested plan before starting and also before each step. The entire staff is extremely professional, courteous and considerate. I was referred to this practice by a family friend and I highly recommend this practice as well. Well-worth the long drive! I recently moved and was looking for a new dentist near where I live and went to them. They were kind but after having done a few fillings I was left with a toothache and I had to go back to them, and they told me that I had to have a root canal. I spent almost a month without being able to eat well after getting my first fillings done. Before going to them I never had any pain, the first doctor who treated me was very fast and not delicate in the way he worked. After a few days they called me from the shelton dental group because I was approved for root canal treatment, I told them no and they insisted until I went with them again, so the doctor told me, hey, it's better to remove the wisdom tooth so the pain can go away, because it is what you really need. I didn't want to and they convinced me since they were angry with me for not deciding soon, so I accepted and it was very traumatic, I would say, a bit of terror. Plus, after the extraction I didn't even get antibiotics, and then I started to have a fever. I had to go to the emergency room because unfortunately, and a coincidence it was, that they were closed that day and they didn't answer the phone either. The emergency doctor checked me and she gave me antibiotics and told me that I had infection, so today I went to the same dentist and they cleaned the infection and banned me from being a client again for giving them a bad review. The nurse told me about why i was banned from being a client, and she was kind as she did but i know she was just trying to be professional. Still, it's not fair that for giving your real opinion they prohibit you from being their client again, which i don’t look forward to at all. This was a terrible life experience for me.
